Binnies, an RSK Group company, is recruiting a Graduate Network Modeller to work within our Consultancy team on water projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on large frameworks and exciting opportunities.

Graduate Network Modeller (Water Services)
Salary: £29,000
Location: Chester, Redhill, Glasgow
Contract Type: Full Time Permanent
As a Graduate Network Modeller, you will develop your skills using a computer programme to model the existing drainage networks of water companies in the UK and overseas. Projects include solving flooding, addressing detriment caused by growth, and pollution assessments to improve catchments. The work involves model build, verification and optioneering to deliver projects for various clients. You will learn from more experienced team members to deliver high-quality projects.
Responsibilities
- Undertaking model build within InfoWorks ICM
- Verifying models to the required standard for clients
- Prepare information for survey contractors
- Analysing and manipulating data
- Prepare project reports for clients
- Deliver network modelling projects to budgets and programme
- Provide information for Senior and Principal Modellers to present to clients
Essential
- A degree in Geography, Maths, Computing, Science or other related subject
- Able to use MS Word and Excel
- Pro-active approach to work
