From early positioning and value proposition development through bid management, presentation preparation and coaching, and behavioural assessment where required, you’ll ensure our win strategy remains clear, compelling and client-focused throughout. Working collaboratively across the business, you’ll use client insight, market intelligence and competitive analysis to shape client-focused solutions, challenge thinking and create compelling, differentiated propositions that improve our probability of success.
What You’ll Do
- Lead capture planning and opportunity shaping for strategic pursuits, working with the Client Services Group to identify and prioritise opportunities and strengthen our position ahead of procurement.
- Develop evidence-based win strategies, using client insight, competitor analysis and market intelligence to identify differentiators, risks and opportunities.
- Facilitate capture, strategy, solution development, storyboarding and winning-theme workshops, bringing together senior, technical, operational and commercial stakeholders.
- Shape compelling value propositions, executive summaries, proposal narratives and presentation messaging, ensuring a consistent story throughout submissions and interviews.
- Provide strategic leadership and challenge throughout the bid lifecycle, including bid/no-bid assessment, strategic reviews and challenge sessions.
- Coach contributors in effective bid writing and storytelling, strengthening content to improve differentiation, quality and scoring potential.
- Translate account intelligence, client feedback and relationship insights into effective capture plans, pursuit strategies and proposal messaging.
- Lead win/loss reviews and continuous improvement, sharing best practice and championing AI and emerging technologies to improve bid effectiveness and efficiency.
About You

You’ll combine excellent writing and storytelling skills with the confidence to facilitate workshops, challenge assumptions and influence senior stakeholders. You’ll understand how client insight, competitive positioning and relationship-based account management can be translated into strategies that improve win probability. Experience of structured bid methodologies such as Shipley, bidding for major frameworks or programmes, and leading strategic reviews and pursuit workshops is essential. You’ll also need to be comfortable using Microsoft Office, AI tools and bid management platforms. Above all, you’ll bring curiosity, analytical thinking and a genuine passion for developing winning bids, alongside a client-focused mindset and the confidence to challenge thinking and drive better outcomes.
