Binnies, part of the RSK Group, are looking for an experienced and capable Safety & Risk Consultant to join our growing team in the South West. This is a key leadership role supporting a valued, long-standing client to deliver exciting and diverse flood and coastal projects.

As an essential member of the Safety & Risk Team, you'll act as the regional technical lead, managing and resourcing a team delivering Principal Designer and CDM Advisor services across a varied and interesting portfolio of schemes. This is a great opportunity to join a highly successful consultancy during an exciting period of growth.

About the Role
  • Lead and manage a team of Safety & Risk Consultants across the South West
  • Work closely with client Project Managers, internal stakeholders, Health, Safety & Wellbeing teams, and external delivery partners
  • Support projects from feasibility through outline & detailed design to construction on site
  • Ensure designs consider buildability, sustainability, environmental impact and health & safety from the outset
Essential Requirements
  • Chartered Safety Professional
  • Relevant degree or diploma
  • Strong working knowledge of the CDM Regulations 2015
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable Requirements
  • Strong report writing capability
  • A proactive mindset with a drive to innovate
  • Willingness to work away from the office for short periods
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent record keeping skills
