Binnies, part of the RSK Group, are looking for an experienced and capable Safety & Risk Consultant to join our growing team in the South West. This is a key leadership role supporting a valued, long-standing client to deliver exciting and diverse flood and coastal projects.
As an essential member of the Safety & Risk Team, you'll act as the regional technical lead, managing and resourcing a team delivering Principal Designer and CDM Advisor services across a varied and interesting portfolio of schemes. This is a great opportunity to join a highly successful consultancy during an exciting period of growth.
About the Role- Lead and manage a team of Safety & Risk Consultants across the South West
- Work closely with client Project Managers, internal stakeholders, Health, Safety & Wellbeing teams, and external delivery partners
- Support projects from feasibility through outline & detailed design to construction on site
- Ensure designs consider buildability, sustainability, environmental impact and health & safety from the outset
- Chartered Safety Professional
- Relevant degree or diploma
- Strong working knowledge of the CDM Regulations 2015
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong report writing capability
- A proactive mindset with a drive to innovate
- Willingness to work away from the office for short periods
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent record keeping skills
