Relief Community Learning Tutor

Hours are offered on an as and when required basis.

£16.71 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance)

We are seeking experienced sessional tutors to offer non-certificated informal courses in community settings around Orkney. These courses aim to complement our current Community Learning provision. We are looking for innovative and creative tutors who can inspire and motivate diverse learners.

Previous classes have included Straw Work, Creative Writing, Shiatsu, Flower Arranging, and Photography.

Candidates must possess a high level of expertise and in-depth knowledge of their chosen field. Relevant teaching experience and qualifications are desirable. Flexibility to deliver classes during daytime, evening, or weekends is required, along with the ability to travel efficiently within Orkney.
