Cleaner required at Stromness Primary School. 17.5 hours per week (3.5 hours per day, 3.45pm to 7.15pm, Monday to Friday). Permanent. Salary: £28,192 - £28,462 pro rata / £14.61 - £14.75 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance).
Responsibilities
- Undertake cleaning duties for the assigned area following written procedures.
- Work as part of a team and use own initiative as required.
- Carry out a range of cleaning activities including use of cleaning products and powered cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of experience in cleaning duties in a home or commercial environment.
- Knowledge and use of cleaning equipment both manual and electrical is required.
