Relief Kitchen Assistant - Mainland Orkney and Outer Isles School
Hours Offered On An As And When Required Basis
£15.05 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance)
Applications are invited from motivated individuals to undertake duties as a kitchen assistant, assisting with the school meal service at various schools. Duties include serving meals, basic food preparation and cooking, operating the till, setting up and clearing down the dining area, washing up and cleaning.
Responsibilities- Serve meals as part of the school meal service.
- Assist with basic food preparation and cooking.
- Operate the till during service.
- Set up and clear down the dining area.
- Wash up and clean as required.
- You must hold an Elementary Food Hygiene Qualification or equivalent.
- You should be able to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Orkney to meet operational requirements.
- This post is subject to Level 2 Disclosure Check with PVG for working in a regulated role with children.
