Overview of key responsibilities

We are recruiting a highly motivated and experienced Partner/Head of Department, at least 10 years PQE, who will support the growth of the department and the firm.

The successful candidate should be committed, hardworking and able to demonstrate detailed knowledge and experience in acting for respondents and defendants, in both contentious and non‑contentious matters.

You will work with our first‑class team, which has broad expertise across the full remit of employment law and is often instructed on cases of extreme public importance.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to help develop and expand the team’s work.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Experience of representing individuals and institutional/commercial clients across the full spectrum of employment related matters, both contentious and non‑contentious.
  • Specific experience of discrimination litigation.
  • An appetite for self‑motivated business development and marketing.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy case load.
  • Where possible, a following of clients, potential clients or referrers with whom you have developed a strong professional relationship.
  • The ability to work within and contribute to a dynamic and high‑performing team.
  • Experience supervising other fee earners.
  • Knowledge of UK law and regulatory frameworks.
