The opportunity
A Partner role with genuine scope to build, shape and lead.
We are open on entry point: equity partner, fixed-share partner, or an established senior associate or legal director ready for a credible route to partnership. This is an opportunity to play a defining role in the team’s next stage of growth. As Partner, you will have the autonomy to shape and grow the department, supported by colleagues across a broad, multidisciplinary firm and a culture that values collaboration over hierarchy.
About you
You will be a senior employment lawyer from private practice with strong technical skills and a credible profile in the market. You will be comfortable taking ownership of client relationships, contributing to strategy and helping to develop people and opportunities around you.
- Substantial experience across contentious and non-contentious employment work (for Claimants and Respondents).
- A strong client-service mindset and the commercial judgement to develop sustainable relationships.
- An entrepreneurial approach, balanced by a genuinely collaborative working style.
- The confidence and ambition to help build a department and broaden its reach.
- A portable client base is desirable, alongside a realistic plan for developing further work.
Employment solicitor (Associate or Senior Associate level)
About You
Looking for your next step in your career, a self-sufficient individual, with the ambition to work towards partnership. Able to work collaboratively for Claimants and/ or Respondents.
- Has excellent communication skills.
- Drafting contracts of employment and policies.
- Representing clients in employment tribunal.
- Advising clients in relation to discrimination legislation.
- 5 years’ post qualification ( PQE) and above preferable.
