Qualification, Experience and Skills:
- Either a construction or BIM-related qualification (HNC/HND or similar) plus min. 3 years’ practical UK experience; or +5 years’ relevant Revit experience in a UK-based structural/civil consultancy.
- Experience in Revit-based Reinforced Concrete Modelling and Reinforcing Detailing.
- Experience in Revit-based Structural Steelwork Modelling / Detailing.
- Excellent communication skills, and experience collaborating with engineers on design solutions.
- Ability to produce accurate Revit models and structural drawings by interpreting engineering designs.
- Must be comfortable working independently and across multiple concurrent projects.
- Experience in producing Structural Steel Fabrication Drawings using Advance Steel or Tekla Structures.
- Experience on multidisciplinary UK engineering projects featuring Structural/Civil/MEP/Architecture.
- Knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
- Knowledge of general construction and engineering detailing.
- Understanding of the requirements of ISO19650 and other standards relating to BIM and digital design.
