As a BIMS Shift Manager, you will play a key role in leading the team to deliver smooth, successful shifts and exceptional guest experiences. You will support the management team in achieving operational goals while creating a positive and motivating environment for colleagues.
About the Role
You will take responsibility for leading shifts, supporting team performance, and ensuring high standards across customer service, food quality, safety, and restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts effectively and support the management team in daily operations.
- Deliver engaging shift briefings that motivate and align the team.
- Support the achievement of restaurant targets and performance goals.
- Manage cash, stock, and consumable controls accurately.
- Deliver excellent customer service and handle guest feedback professionally.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and restaurant presentation.
- Create effective shift plans to meet operational needs.
- Work with Front of House and Back of House teams to deliver quality food and service at pace.
- Support successful delivery of promotions, product launches, and brand initiatives.
- Be hands-on and support the team wherever needed.
- Encourage positive involvement within the local community.
