As a BIMS Shift Manager you have a really important role! When the managers aren’t there, you are leading the team to deliver shifts that run smoothly, enable great guest experiences and smash their targets. When the managers are there, you are a key support to them in running the perfect shift.
What Will My Role Involve?
- Leading shifts when the managers aren’t there and supporting the management when they are
- Delivering inspiring shift briefs that motivate your team
- Supporting the achievement of the restaurant’s targets
- Keeping tight controls on cash, stock and consumables
- Modelling excellent guest service from delivering it to resolving complaints effectively
- Keeping the restaurant and kitchen sparklingly clean at all times
- Creating efficient shift plans that meet the needs of that shift
- Bringing Front of House and Back of House together to deliver perfect quality food at pace
- Being a brand advocate and supporting excellent execution of all product launches, promotions etc.
- Getting ‘stuck in’ on shifts wherever you are needed
- Supporting community involvement proactively
