We are looking for a proactive and reliable Shop Floor Assistant to join this dedicated branch in Watford. As a Shop Floor Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in day-to-day operations, maintaining warehouse organisation, ensuring a safe working environment, communicate effectively with our customers, and work as part of a busy team.

Requirements
- Ability to work well within a team.

Key Responsibilities
- Stock replenishment on the shop floor.
- Ordering and sorting goods.
- Answer customer queries in person and over the phone.
- Safely load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring materials are stored correctly.
- Maintain yard stock, ensuring materials are stored in designated areas for easy access.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading materials, providing exceptional service and advice.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, keeping the yard clean and hazard-free.
- Perform routine checks on forklifts and other yard equipment, reporting maintenance issues promptly.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth yard operations and timely deliveries.
- Perform other assigned tasks, including manual handling and site maintenance
