We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways infrastructure project in Swansea.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile scheme with a well-established contractor on a long-term contract.
Responsibilities
- Setting out for highways and civil engineering works.
- Managing QA documentation and maintaining accurate site records.
- Producing and reviewing As-Built surveys.
- Working closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager to ensure programme targets are achieved.
- Supervising subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely and to specification.
- Liaising with the design team to resolve technical issues.
- Ensuring all works comply with project specifications and health & safety requirements.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on major highways or infrastructure projects.
- Proficient with Leica and/or Trimble surveying equipment.
- Strong understanding of setting out, QA, and surveying procedures.
- SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable).
- Full UK driving licence.
