Albert D Wellington Ltd (ADW) is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager to join the team due to continued growth. The successful candidate will be involved in the full project lifecycle, providing professional cost and commercial management services from feasibility through to final account, and support to the junior / trainee surveyors on their RICS & CIOB development programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost plans, feasibility studies, and budget estimates at early project stages
- Produce and manage Bills of Quantities and tender documentation
- Lead procurement and tender processes, including contractor selection and tender reporting
- Provide ongoing cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting throughout project delivery
- Assess, certify, and agree interim valuations and final accounts
- Manage variations, risk, and change control in accordance with contract requirements
- Administer construction contracts and support project and contract administration duties
- Liaise professionally with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors
- Ensure projects achieve value for money, cost certainty, and commercial compliance

Key Requirements & Desirables:
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
- Minimum 2–5 years’ post-graduate experience in a consultancy or construction environment
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management processes
- Experience delivering projects from inception to final account
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident in managing multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications: Working towards MRICS or CIOB qualification (or equivalent industry experience).
Experience: Proven track record in residential and mixed-use projects.
Location Expertise: Strong knowledge of London-based construction projects.
Soft Skills: Strong client-facing and stakeholder management.
Technical Skills: Good numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
