Daniel Owen is currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager within construction and building to oversee a summer refurbishment programme at a school.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised Site Manager with a strong background in delivering fit-out and refurbishment projects within live or educational environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
You will be coordinating subcontractors, maintaining health and safety standards, liaising with the client and project team, and ensuring the project is completed in time for the school's reopening.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing all on-site activities throughout the refurbishment programme
- Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are completed to programme.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and quality on site.
- Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings.
- Monitoring progress and reporting updates to the project team.
- Managing site paperwork, permits and health & safety documentation.
- Liaising with the client, school representatives and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Ensuring all work is completed to specification and handed over on time.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on fit-out or refurbishment projects.
- Previous experience working is essential.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple trades and work to tight deadlines.
