M&E Quantity Surveyor – Manchester (£55,000-£70,000)

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team and support the delivery of mechanical and electrical packages across a range of Manchester projects. This role is ideal for someone confident in cost management who's ready to take ownership of key commercial duties and progress within a high‑performing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cost reporting – Prepare detailed cost plans, forecasts, and financial updates.
  • Measurement & BOQs – Produce accurate quantities and tender documentation.
  • Procurement – Assess subcontractor quotations and lead tender analyses.
  • Valuations & variations – Manage monthly valuations, change control, and variation assessments.
  • Contract administration – Oversee NEC/JCT documentation and ensure commercial compliance.
  • Stakeholder coordination – Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to support smooth project delivery.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with M&E exposure.
  • Strong understanding of building services and commercial processes.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
  • Proactive, organised, and confident managing commercial responsibilities.
