This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Architect to join a growing team working on specialist SEND school projects, taking ownership of exciting projects while having clear opportunities for progression and development throughout the company.
The role of an Architect:
- Working closely with clients, consultants, and project teams to develop thoughtful and innovative designs for SEND education projects
- Taking projects through various stages from initial concept and planning through to technical design and delivery
- Producing high-quality concept designs, presentations, technical drawings, and project documentation
- Developing designs that respond to the specific needs of SEND environments, users, and communities
- Advising on materials, spatial strategies, construction methods, and design solutions
- Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Attending site visits and supporting the successful delivery of projects
- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the practice
Key Requirements of an Architect:
- ARB/RIBA qualified or working towards qualification
- Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills are essential; BIM experience is highly advantageous
- Good understanding of UK planning policy, Building Regulations, and construction methods
- Previous experience within the education sector would be advantageous, particularly SEND projects
- A strong design-led approach with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and project teams
- A proactive and ambitious approach, with a desire to progress within a growing practice
