Senior Building Regulations Principal Designer
Location: London / Hybrid
Salary: Up to £75,000 + Benefits
We're working with a well-established consultancy looking to appoint a Senior Building Regulations Principal Designer as part of the continued growth of its Building Safety team.
This is an opportunity for an experienced professional to lead Building Regulations Principal Designer duties across complex projects while mentoring junior team members and acting as a trusted advisor to clients.
The Role
- Advise clients on Building Safety Act compliance.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams throughout project delivery.
- Review designs for compliance with Building Regulations.
- Lead Gateway submissions and regulatory processes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Mentor and support junior members of the team.
- Contribute to the continued growth of the Building Safety function.
About You
- Significant experience as a Building Regulations Principal Designer.
- Background in Architecture, Architectural Technology or a similar design discipline.
- Strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act and current Building Regulations.
- Experience delivering complex or high-value projects.
- Ability to work autonomously while leading projects.
- Professional membership is desirable.
