About the role: As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key leadership role in the development and delivery of compliant electrical engineering strategies across complex building environments, with a strong focus on healthcare and mission‑critical infrastructure. Working within a multidisciplinary MEP consultancy environment, you will lead projects, support and mentor engineers, and collaborate closely with clients and external stakeholders. This role offers a blend of technical challenge, project responsibility, and long‑term career progression. The role operates on a hybrid working model, typically 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, based on a 37.5 hour working week, Monday to Friday.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
- Progress towards Chartered Engineer status.
- Professional membership of a relevant body (CIBSE, IET, IHEEM preferred).
- Strong experience in electrical building services design, particularly within healthcare environments.
- Demonstrable experience in power infrastructure system design.
- Proven experience operating at Intermediate Engineer level or above.
- Strong client‑facing and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with switchgear and control systems (desirable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel and MS Project.
- Experience using calculation software such as Trimble, ETAP, Dialux, or similar.
- Sound knowledge of British Standards, Building Regulations, and CDM Regulations.
- Familiarity with HTMs would be advantageous.
