The role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Roofing will involve:
- Assistant Quantity Surveyor position dealing with a range of commercial & industrial roofing systems across education, healthcare and public sectors
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, quotations, and tender submissions including labour, materials, prelims, and programme considerations
- Work closely with the Senior Contracts Manager to ensure each project is running successfully
- Building strong working relationships with clients and subcontractors
- Review project specifications, drawings and contract documentation to identify commercial requirements
- Working multiple projects at one time, varying in size from £50k – £1m+
The ideal applicant will be an Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Roofing with:
- Must have Quantity Surveying experience within the construction / trade sector
- Highly advantageous to be an Assistant / Junior Quantity Surveyor within roofing
- Beneficial to possess a related degree (quantity surveying, construction management etc.)
- Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- Full UK driving license
