Fusion People is recruiting a Construction Project Manager for a well-established and rapidly expanding self-storage operator with sites across the UK and a strong pipeline of further development.
This is an in-house role reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will lead projects from inception through to completion, covering redevelopment of existing buildings, new builds and mixed-use schemes. It is a genuine cradle to grave remit rather than picking up someone else's programme halfway through.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating internal resources, third party suppliers and contractors across live projects
- Delivering projects on time, in scope and on budget
- Developing project scopes for new build and refurbishment schemes, including objectives and technical feasibility for stakeholders
- Managing resource availability and allocation, and tracking project progress throughout
- Handling changes to scope, schedule and cost using proper verification techniques
- Measuring performance, reporting to senior management and escalating issues early
What we’re looking for
- Proven track record in construction, fit out, refurbishment and building project management
- Experience with new build steel portal frame buildings
- Experience running projects from cradle to grave
- Strong on budgeting and analysis. QS skills are an advantage
- Comfortable with project management software such as (url removed)
- RICS qualification preferred but not essential
Package
- £40,000 to £50,000 basic depending on experience
- Up to £70,000 OTE through project completion bonuses
- Car mileage allowance
- 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday
