I'm working with a well-established commercial Design & Build main contractor that has an immediate requirement for an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a £1m commercial refurbishment project in Guildford.
This is a site-based role requiring someone who can take full ownership of the project from day one, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The Role
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, coordinating subcontractors, driving the construction programme, maintaining excellent health & safety standards, and liaising closely with the Project Manager and client throughout the project.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience delivering commercial refurbishment projects as a Site Manager.
- Previous experience working for commercial Design & Build main contractors.
- Strong track record of managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades on fast-paced projects.
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings and programmes.
- Confident managing health & safety, quality, and site logistics.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.

You’ll be a proactive Site Manager who is confident making decisions on site, keeping programmes on track, and maintaining high standards throughout the build.
