Site Engineer in Guildford

Our client, a tier 2 contractor in the water industry, is currently seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join their dynamic team in Guildford. This role offers the opportunity to work on significant water infrastructure projects on a long-term contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing on-site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards
• Coordinating and supervising blue-collar workers
• Working closely with the project management team to ensure timely project delivery
• Conducting site surveys and assessments to provide accurate progress reports
• Implementing and maintaining health and safety protocols on site
• Collaborating with stakeholders to address and resolve site-related issues
• Ensuring quality control and compliance with engineering plans and specifications

Job Requirements:

• Experience in the water sector and a strong background in civil engineering
• Possession of a Thames Water passport
• Proficiency in managing and supervising blue-collar workforce
• Understanding of water infrastructure projects
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as necessary
