We are currently working with a well-established contractor who is looking to recruit an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join their team in Guildford, supporting a programme of kitchen and bathroom refurbishment works.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RLO looking for an immediate start, with the potential for the position to become permanent following the initial temporary contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for residents throughout the refurbishment programme.
  • Liaise with residents regarding planned kitchen and bathroom works.
  • Arrange appointments and coordinate access to occupied properties.
  • Keep residents informed of work schedules, progress and any changes.
  • Manage resident queries, concerns and complaints, resolving issues promptly.
  • Work closely with site teams, contractors and supervisors to ensure works run smoothly.
  • Carry out resident visits and provide regular updates throughout the project.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident communications and appointments.
  • Support the site team with resident engagement and general project administration.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service throughout the programme.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, Tenant Liaison Officer or Customer Liaison Officer.
  • Experience working on kitchen and bathroom refurbishments or planned maintenance projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident liaising with residents, contractors and site teams.
  • Proactive and professional approach to resolving issues.
  • Available to start immediately on Monday.
