Boyd Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join their growing team in Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business where you'll play a key role in coordinating planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring engineers are efficiently scheduled and customer service levels remain high.

The Role

  • Plan and schedule engineers' daily and weekly workloads.
  • Coordinate service, maintenance and installation appointments.
  • Liaise with customers, engineers and suppliers to ensure smooth job delivery.
  • Monitor job progress and respond to changes or emergencies.
  • Update and maintain job management systems with accurate information.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to maximise productivity.
  • Ensure all relevant job documentation is completed and up to date.
  • Work closely with the operations team to support service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Produce reports and assist with administrative tasks where required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Maintenance Planner, Service Coordinator or Scheduler role.
  • Essential experience using Simpro.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with customers and engineers.
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload and work to deadlines.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
