Our client is a well-established fire risk, health & safety and compliance consultancy operating across the UK and internationally. They support a diverse portfolio including commercial offices, retail estates, industrial facilities, media organisations, and mixed-use developments. You will be able to provide complex fire risk assessments for clients including H&M, HSBC, Co-OP, CBRE, warehouses, universities, colleges, residential and many more.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Fire Risk Assessor + Health and Safety (Mid to Senior Level) to join their team. The role is predominantly Fire Risk Assessor focused.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering complex fire risk assessments and providing clear, practical advice to ensure compliance with UK fire safety legislation. You will also contribute to more advanced technical work, particularly in relation to existing and non-compliant buildings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering PAS 79-compliant fire risk assessments across a range of complex property types
  • Providing expert advice in relation to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Fire Safety Act, and associated regulations
  • Health & Safety assessments
  • Producing high-quality, client-ready reports with clear and proportionate recommendations
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, supporting informed decision-making
  • Reviewing and quality assuring fire risk assessments (Principal level)
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Contributing to service development and technical standards
