Our client, a well-established and growing fire safety consultancy, is seeking an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join their expanding team across the North West.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to work with a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, educational, healthcare, and public sector clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out fire risk assessments in accordance with current legislation and industry best practice, providing clear recommendations, and supporting clients in maintaining compliance with fire safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments across a variety of property types.
- Produce detailed, high-quality reports with practical and proportionate recommendations.
- Identify fire safety risks and advise clients on remedial actions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant fire safety legislation, standards, and guidance.
- Liaise professionally with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Support ongoing fire safety consultancy projects as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience carrying out fire risk assessments.
- Recognised fire safety qualification (e. g. NEBOSH Fire Safety, FPA, IFSM, IFE, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order and relevant fire safety guidance.
- Excellent report‑writing and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the North West.
- Membership of a recognised professional body is desirable.
