Job Overview

Fire Engineer role within the fire safety sector based in London, offering hybrid working. The position focuses on fire engineering and external wall fire risk assessments across varied built environment projects. Suitable for candidates with UK fire safety experience progressing toward chartership, this role provides exposure to compliance, remediation, and advisory services within a collaborative team environment.

Role & Responsibilities

You will support project delivery across multiple fire safety schemes, contributing to technical reporting, site inspections, and client advisory work. The role involves working closely with senior team members on remediation and compliance-focused projects.

Deliver fire risk and external wall assessments

  • Undertake site inspections and provide advice
  • Prepare technical reports and compliance documentation
  • Support remediation and fire safety projects
  • Liaise with clients and project stakeholders

Skills & Experience Required

Candidates should have experience within fire safety consultancy and a strong understanding of UK legislation. You will be confident producing technical reports and working across multiple projects.

Experience in fire risk assessments

  • Knowledge of UK fire safety legislation
  • Degree in engineering or related field
  • Working toward chartership or similar
  • Strong communication and reporting skills

Salary & Benefits

Β£40,000 – Β£55,000 depending on experience, plus car allowance. Hybrid working, employee ownership scheme, and structured support for chartership progression included.
