We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a leading MEP contractor delivering a prestigious residential development in London.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the electrical package on a flagship project, overseeing delivery from pre-construction through to commissioning and final handover.
The Role
As Electrical Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the electrical installation, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Managing all aspects of the electrical package throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and client representatives.
- Monitoring programme progress and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
- Managing procurement of electrical materials and equipment.
- Overseeing installation quality, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Managing project costs, variations, and reporting to senior management.
- Chairing site progress meetings and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Identifying project risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
About You
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the building services or MEP sector.
- A strong track record delivering residential projects, ideally high-rise or large-scale developments.
- Excellent technical knowledge of electrical building services including power, lighting, fire alarms, emergency lighting, containment, and LV distribution systems.
- Strong commercial awareness and programme management skills.
- Experience leading site teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Building Services (HNC/HND/Degree desirable).
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications are advantageous.
