Window and Doors Fabricator / Window and Door Assembler

Job Overview
On behalf of one of our established clients, we are seeking an experienced window assembler and door assembler to join their production team as a window and doors fabricator. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling high-quality windows and doors in accordance with technical specifications and drawings. As a dedicated assembler, this role requires the ability to work independently, provide support to less experienced assembler team members, and ensure a clean, organized, and safe workspace for overall window and door production.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Window and Door Assembly: Perform precise window assembly and door assembly using hand and power tools according to technical specifications; apply silicone and gaskets accurately to every window and door during fabrication.
- Technical Drawing Interpretation: Read and follow detailed technical drawings for custom windows and doors.
- Quality Control: Inspect each completed window and door for defects prior to sign-off; identify and report any faults during the window and door assembly process.
- Independent Work: Manage daily task loads as a lead assembler to meet target output for windows and doors.
- Team Support: Assist and guide junior window and door fabricator staff with complex assembler tasks and troubleshooting.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to all Health and Safety policies while fabricating windows and doors; maintain a clean work area.
- Forklift Operations: Assist with moving raw materials used for window and door fabrication (valid forklift certification required).
- Documentation: Sign off on completed window and door panels to confirm quality standards are met.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a window assembler, door assembler, or general window and doors fabricator.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for window and door manufacturing.
- Strong ability to read drawings for custom window and door specifications.
- High attention to detail for window and door quality control.
