The Role
As Assistant Site Manager / Finishing Manager, you will support the Site Manager whilst taking responsibility for managing and coordinating all internal and external finishing works to achieve programme, quality and safety targets.
- Take responsibility for managing and coordinating all internal and external finishing works.
- Oversee all finishing trades through to successful handover.
- Manage subcontractors, quality control and defect resolution.
- Drive programme delivery against key milestones and report progress.
- Coordinate with the Site Manager and Project Management teams.
- Ensure works are delivered to the highest standards of quality and health & safety.
- Manage snagging, commissioning and client handover.
About You
You will be an experienced Assistant Site Manager or Finishing Manager with a proven track record working for a Main Contractor.
This role would particularly suit someone with previous experience delivering hotel and leisure projects, although candidates with experience on new build apartments, student accommodation or high-quality residential developments will also be considered.
- Strong knowledge of internal fit-out and finishing packages.
- Ability to work to demanding programmes and quality standards.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- SMSTS / CSCS Card / First Aid at Work.
