I’m currently looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join a Tier 1 Fit Out Contractor delivering commercial projects in St Albans.
The role will involve leading the delivery of CAT A and CAT B commercial fit‑out projects, working closely with the wider project team through to completion.
The Role
- Taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of CAT A & CAT B fit‑out projects.
- Managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Driving the construction programme and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
- Managing quality, health & safety and overall site performance.
- Working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team.
- Coordinating works from pre-construction through to practical completion.
- Ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard and in line with programme requirements.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Construction Manager on commercial fit‑out projects.
- Strong CAT A & CAT B experience.
- Comfortable managing multiple subcontractors and site teams.
- Strong understanding of programme, quality and health & safety.
- Experience working for a Tier 1 or established fit‑out contractor would be beneficial.
- Good communication skills with the ability to lead a project from start to finish.
