Commercial Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit Out
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading specialist commercial fit-out and refurbishment contractor delivering high-quality, design-led workplace environments across London.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial delivery of major interior fit-out projects, taking responsibility for cost management, procurement, subcontractor packages and overall financial performance.
This role would suit a commercially driven professional with a strong background in commercial interior fit-out and experience delivering high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities
- * Take commercial responsibility for interior fit-out projects from pre-construction through to final account.
- * Manage project costs, budgets, forecasting and financial reporting.
- * Oversee procurement and commercial management of subcontractors and supply chain partners.
- * Manage valuations, variations, change control and final accounts.
- * Work closely with Project Managers, site teams and senior leadership to ensure strong commercial performance.
- * Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- * Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
- * Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed commercial and financial objectives.
Requirements
- * Proven experience as a Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor or experienced Quantity Surveyor within commercial interior fit-out.
- * Previous experience working on projects valued at £10M+ would be highly advantageous.
- * Strong knowledge of procurement, subcontract management, variations and final accounts.
- * Excellent commercial awareness and financial management skills.
- * Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- * Relevant Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or Construction qualification.
