We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join a major highways scheme in Colchester, working as part of a high-profile infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior engineering support across a major highways scheme.
- Oversee engineering activities and ensure works are delivered to programme and required standards.
- Work closely with site teams, subcontractors, designers and project management.
- Review drawings, specifications and technical information.
- Monitor quality, progress and compliance across the works.
- Identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Support the successful delivery of the project from an engineering perspective.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Senior Engineer on major highways/civil engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of highways construction and engineering principles.
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure schemes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of engineering activities.
