We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plant Hygiene Supervisor to join a busy operational team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise hygiene operatives during daily cleaning activities
- Allocate tasks and manage staff schedules effectively
- Monitor and inspect production areas and equipment to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained
- Ensure all cleaning processes are completed in line with company procedures
- Enforce Health & Safety and COSHH regulations across the site
- Support and develop team members to achieve operational targets
- Complete relevant documentation and audits as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hygiene supervisory role within a manufacturing, food production, or industrial environment
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Reliable, proactive, and committed to high standards
