We are looking for an experienced CAD Technician to support the production and development of mechanical and process drawings across industrial / water-related projects.
The role
You will be responsible for producing, updating and amending technical drawings including:
- P&IDs and process schematics
- Mechanical layouts
- Pipework and piping drawings
- Pump and equipment layouts
- General AutoCAD drawings
- Drawing updates from engineering and site information
What we are looking for
- Strong AutoCAD experience
- Previous experience producing P&IDs, schematics or mechanical/process drawings
- Good understanding of pipework, pumps and mechanical equipment
- Experience within water, wastewater, utilities, industrial or process environments
- Revit experience would be beneficial but is not essential
- Background as a CAD Technician, CAD Draughtsman, Mechanical Draughtsman or CAD Designer
This would suit someone who is confident taking engineering information and turning it into accurate, clear technical drawings.
