Following recent project wins, our client, an award-winning Architectural practice, are looking for an Architectural Technologist to join their growing Brighton office.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in designing exceptional projects either in the Educational, Leisure or Extra Care sector.

The successful Architectural Technologist will join a supportive, design lead and specialist team to work on projects ranging up to £100m in project value, using Revit daily. The role will involve producing drawings, technical designs, specifications and schedules to support design development and information release.

Architectural Technologist Position Overview:

  • Produce detailed drawings, technical designs, specifications and schedules using Revit to support projects from design development through to construction
  • Develop and manage designs, ensuring accuracy, coordination and compliance with project standards
  • Prepare technical information packages for planning, tender and construction stages
  • Coordinate technical information across disciplines, identifying and resolving design and construction issues
  • Work closely with the wider technical team
  • Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors to support smooth project delivery
  • Assist with day to day project running, including managing deadlines, information release and design team coordination
  • Ensure all work complies with current Building Regulations, industry standards and best practice

Architectural Technologist Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience within an architectural practice
  • Advanced working knowledge of Revit, with experience producing detailed technical information
  • Exceptional technical design skills
  • Experience managing projects through all RIBA stages
  • Experience within either the Educational, Leisure or Extra Care sectors
  • Confident and professional client-facing approach, with the ability to lead or contribute to meetings and presentations
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines effectively
