Our client is a well-established Dorset-based contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality commercial refurbishment and extension projects across the South.
Working across sectors including Education, NHS, Heritage, Local Authority, and Commercial, they are looking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects and lead operational performance across the business.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing the operational delivery of a range of refurbishment and extension projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple live projects from start to finish.
- Lead and support Project Managers and Site Teams.
- Ensure programmes, budgets, quality, and Health & Safety standards are achieved.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Drive operational performance and continuous improvement.
About You
- Previous experience as an Operations Manager, Contracts Manager, or Senior Project Manager within construction.
- A strong background in commercial refurbishment and extension projects.
- Experience delivering projects within education, healthcare, heritage, or public sector environments is desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
