Electrical Supervisor – Data Centre Construction


We're recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join one of Europe's leading data centre contractors on a major hyperscale data centre project in Blyth, England.


This is an excellent opportunity to oversee electrical installation activities on a flagship mission-critical project, managing site operations, subcontractors, and electrical works while ensuring delivery is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.


As Electrical Supervisor, you'll play a key role in coordinating site activities, supporting programme delivery, and ensuring electrical works are completed in line with project specifications, drawings, and safety requirements.


Key Responsibilities



  • Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities on site.

  • Liaise with other trades, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth delivery.

  • Prepare and manage two-week look-ahead programmes in line with project schedules.

  • Attend daily briefings, site meetings, and coordination meetings.

  • Manage labour resources and monitor productivity against programme requirements.

  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are delivered efficiently.

  • Maintain high standards of quality, workmanship, and safety across all electrical activities.

  • Ensure materials, tools, and plant are delivered, inspected, and stored correctly.

  • Verify subcontractor plant and access equipment certification.

  • Identify project risks, variations, delays, and communicate issues to the project management team.

  • Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.


Requirements



  • Relevant Electrical trade qualification.

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor, Electrical Foreman, or Electrical Site Supervisor.

  • Strong background within an M&E contracting environment.

  • Experience managing electrical subcontractors and site installation activities.

  • Good understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.

  • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Previous experience on Data Centre, Mission Critical, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, or Large-Scale Construction projects is highly desirable.
