THE ROLE
As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out asbestos surveys across a wide range of client sites throughout Birmingham and the surrounding region. Working independently and with the support of an experienced operations team, you will deliver high-quality surveying services while ensuring full compliance with current legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
- Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a variety of property types
- Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports
- Managing your own workload and daily schedule efficiently
- Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- BOHS P402 qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS-accredited consultancy
- Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation
- Full UK driving licence
