An established asbestos consultancy with more than three decades of industry experience is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join its Basildon-based team. Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in accordance with HSG264
- Identifying and assessing asbestos-containing materials across varied site types
- Producing accurate, compliant, and well-presented survey reports
- Communicating professionally with clients, contractors, and internal colleagues
- Managing workloads and project deadlines while maintaining technical standards
- Ensuring all work complies with current legislation, HSE guidance, and best practice
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrable experience as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS-accredited consultancy
- Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation and compliance requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
