As Student Wellbeing Advisor, you will serve as a crucial point of contact for students navigating various personal challenges. You will offer support, facilitate access to essential services, and maintain strong connections with external agencies.
What You'll Do
- Providing pastoral support to students facing various challenges, including mental health issues, financial hardships, and social difficulties.
- Managing a caseload of students, conducting both online and face‑to‑face pastoral sessions, and staffing drop‑in services.
- Maintaining accurate records of student interactions, referrals, and outcomes in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Assessing and triaging student cases, escalating concerns when necessary, and collaborating closely with academic and campus teams.
- Proactively informing students about available support services within the University and contributing to the delivery of wellbeing interventions and workshops.
