About The Role
As Information Hub Assistant, you’ll be the welcoming face of our campus and the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors. You’ll play a key role in delivering essential information, supporting day‑to‑day operations, and ensuring everyone feels informed and supported. This is a varied role that requires excellent time management, prioritisation skills, and a calm, professional approach.
What You’ll Do
- Frontline Service: Greet students, staff, and guests at the Campus Information Hub desk, ensuring everyone feels welcome.
- Maintain a Professional Environment: Keep the reception area clean, tidy, and professionally presented.
- Security Protocols: Implement security measures, including issuing and monitoring ID cards for students, staff, and visitors, and maintaining a record of all visitors on campus.
- Respond to Enquiries: Provide excellent first‑line responses to student enquiries in person, by phone, or by email, triaging efficiently and directing them to appropriate resources.
- Collaboration: Work closely with all on‑campus departments to ensure the Information Hub serves as a comprehensive resource for students, with up‑to‑date information.
- Administrative Support: Assist college teams with administrative tasks as needed.
What You’ll Bring
- A good level of general education, including English and Maths.
- Previous experience in a customer service and/or administrative role.
- The ability to work independently while also being a cooperative team player.
- A positive attitude with a proactive approach to supporting students, with a friendly and empathetic demeanour.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Professional communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
This is a Zero Hours contract, with the opportunity to work up to three days per week during term time across both our Fulham and Ealing Campuses.
