The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
To support the Production Supervisor and to perform all manufacturing process operations within two manufacturing areas (i.e., Sinter Plant and Packaging Area); ensuring that Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Documentation Practise (GDP) guidelines are always adhered to.
Key Role Specific Requirements
- Support Production Effectiveness
- Ensure that the standard operating procedures within the manufacturing processes are always followed exactly.
- Ensure that the batch manufacturing documentation is completed in real time i.e., promptly, and efficiently in line with the time in motion schedule.
- Ensure the Tier 1 noticeboard is completed daily to ensure production schedule / targets are being met.
- Report equipment problems to the Production Supervisor (or Engineering) immediately.
- Report any errors, deviations, or non-conformances immediately to the Production Supervisor (or Quality Assurance).
- Ensure that the working area and equipment / machinery are left clean and tidy after use.
- Ensure all glass batches manufactured / finished products are stored on the racking.
- Ensure that the production operations are kept running efficiently by carrying out any additional tasks.
- Maintain good health, safety, and environmental practice at all times.
- Provide call-out support as required.
- Support the Production Supervisor to ensure successful new project implementation as and when required.
- Support other members of the team as required to ensure the effective running of the business.
- Play an active role in the site’s continuous improvement plan by generating JDI’s, A3’s etc.
- Identify and participate in sustainability improvement projects to reduce the site’s carbon emissions.

Other Requirements
- Qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Performing Manufacturing Operations (or equivalent) or internally trained.
