Are you a skilled BIM or CAD Technician, looking for new opportunities? We are currently on the search for skilled BIM and CAD Technicians, on behalf of a leading Security Solutions firm. This is top class firm, delivering solutions on Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Commercial projects throughout Ireland, the UK and across the European market. Your New Role Successful candidates will be responsible for creating and maintaining Revit models, and CAD drawings, and other related documents. You will have a strong understanding of Revit software and will be involved with coordination and collaboration with other team members, whilst understanding the technical aspects of the system design. * Hybrid working is available for he successful candidates. Responsibilities * Creating, Developing and Maintaining Revit models, CAD drawings, and other related documents. Troubleshooting any issues, ensuring models are clash free. * Ensuring accuracy and efficiency of Revit models and drawings, whilst ensureing project timeframes are met. * Providing technical support to other team members. * Making basic updates to family objects. * Producing 2D sheets, working with views, sheets, title blocks. * Auditing and coordinating design models for compliance with BIM execution plans. * Validation of redlines, presenting to clients. Do you Fit the Bill? * Previous experience with security systems design (CCTV, Access Control, intruder or Fire Alarms). * A degree or background in electrical engineering * Knowledge of point cloud scans and the as built process is ideal. * Experience with federated model coordination, clash detection. * Knowledge of Revit, CAD, Navisworks
