What You’ll Be Doing
- BIM Modeling & Delivery: Developing detailed 3D Revit models and production information from initial layout stage right through to tender and construction stage packages.
- Technical Detailing: Resolving complex construction details with a sharp focus on thermal performance, buildability, and material efficiency.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all designs fully comply with Irish Building Regulations (Parts A–M), BCAR requirements, and planning conditions.
- Contractor & Site Liaison: Attending site meetings, resolving technical RFIs, and collaborating directly with contractors and engineering consultants.
- Clash Detection & Coordination: Working within multi-disciplinary BIM environments to ensure seamless model coordination.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualification: Degree in Architectural Technology (or equivalent).
- Experience: 3–6+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally within an Irish or UK architectural practice.
- Revit Mastery: Proven, hands-on experience delivering projects in Revit within a BIM framework (ISO 19650 knowledge is a strong plus).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Sound understanding of Irish Building Regulations, TGDs, and the BCAR process.
- Eye for Detail: Exceptional technical drafting ability coupled with strong spatial problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Clear, confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative team environment.
