We are hiring an ambitious, forward-thinking and experienced BIM Coordinator/ Specialist to join our growing BIM team at our Manchester office.
The individual will have the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team delivering and implementing BIM from project level for prestigious clients across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist BIM Director/Manager in BIM technology development
- Assist BIM Director/Manager in BIM technology process review and implementation
- Assist BIM Director/Manager in authoring of UK Information Management Initiative Framework project suit of documents
- Author BIM Objects and maintain shared resources in line with client company standards
- Contribute/Assist leadership with company-wide Revit standards, information model management, and technical support to other Revit technicians
- Monitor and enforce compliance with BIM standards and project-specific requirements
- Perform regular audits of project information models, ensuring the accuracyof information modelsand datasetsin line with BGH project quality controlprocedures
- Validate information models against client level of information need
- Manage shared dataand inter-modelrelationships
- Represent the team at interdisciplinary model coordination meetings
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary BIM projects according to the standards and internal company procedures
- Carry out clash detection in line with the project BIM Execution Plan and Production Methods and Procedures workflows
- Assist BIM Director/Manager with project / delivery team training workshops
- Set-up and manage CDE platforms in line with company protocols
- Assist with the management of cloud shared models and issues management workflows
- Leverage experience with Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, Power BI and Autodesk Construction Cloud
Requirements:
- Up to date with the latest trends and an understanding of the emerging technology market that can support our AEC clients
- A working knowledge of the standards which define Stage 2 to UK Information Management Initiative Framework and a proven track record of project delivery to these standards
- Understanding of the functions and responsibilities relevant to a BIM enabled project
- A working knowledge of the creation and maintenance of key BIM documentation
- A proven track record of setting up and working with Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Aconex, Procore, Viewpoint, Asite, Conject etcβ¦
- Advanced level working knowledge of Revit 3D modelling software
- A working knowledge of 3D model validation and clash detection software such as Solibri, Navisworks and Power BI
- Good working knowledge of IDS, IFC and COBie schemas
- Working knowledge of dashboard software such as Power BI and Tableau
- An understanding of Revit integration with Twinmotion and Navisworks for concept feasibility studies via Google Earth Pro
