Bilton Veterinary Centre is looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to become part of our friendly and experienced team. This role offers a varied caseload, combining consultations with surgery and diagnostics, all within a supportive and well‑equipped environment.

A role designed with balance in mind. You’ll work a structured rota of four days per week, with shifts typically running between 8:30am‑7:00pm and one earlier finish day from 8:00am‑6:00pm. Weekend duties are shared on a 1 in 5 basis (Saturday mornings until 1:00pm) and 1 in 5 basis (Saturday until 4pm), with no out‑of‑hours or bank holiday commitments. About the practice: Located in the thriving town of Rugby, our practice benefits from excellent local amenities, including shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. With easy access to Birmingham and London, as well as nearby countryside such as the Cotswolds and Peak District, it’s an ideal location for both work and leisure. Our modern, purpose‑built practice includes:

  • Five consulting rooms
  • Separate waiting areas and wards for cats, dogs, and small animals
  • Two fully equipped sterile theatres
  • Dedicated dental and treatment areas

We’re proud to offer advanced clinical equipment, including digital radiography, dental imaging, ultrasound with Doppler, in‑house laboratory facilities, and comprehensive monitoring systems.

Our team: You’ll be joining a collaborative team of 7 Veterinary Surgeons, 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses, and a strong support network of reception and administrative staff. We actively encourage professional development and have team members pursuing further certifications in areas such as surgery and internal medicine. Whether your interests lie in surgery, imaging, cardiology, or internal medicine, you’ll be supported to grow your expertise.
