We are looking for a part-time motivated and skilled practice nurse (with experience ideally or on training pathway) to join our fabulous team. We are a small, friendly and supportive team made up of 2 partners, 2 salaried GP's, FCP, nursing, pharmacist and admin staff. We have a high staff satisfaction and retention rate.
We are an EMIS practice with a list size of approx 4500 patients.
The role will be varied and cover all aspects of practice nursing. Training is encouraged/offered to fill any gaps in experience.
Hours to be agreed between 15 and 22.5 hours.
Main duties of the job
Duties to include but not limited to:
- All vaccinations
- Travel advice and vaccinations
- Childhood immunisations
- Health promotion and lifestyle advice
- Screening such as cytology
- Management and review of long term conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and asthma
- Attend regular clinical meetings
